Patagonia Ice Cap Expedition

Ozone Snowkites on the Patagonia Ice Cap.   Photos by Ben Ditto.  Circa 2006 winter season.  Bean Bowers, Andrew McClean and Ben Ditto in the expedition party.  The Goal was to cross the ice field and ski sick chutes.  Mission was a success, especially the Snowkiting.  4 & 6 meter Access kites were the norm in the strong winds there.  After passing up several other ski-mountaineering parties, these kite-mountaineers sold their kites on the spot before coming home.
